Cheers,
Simon
I am taking the opportunity on the way back to visit some of the WW1 sites and so have chosen the following:
Thursday 28th. Ibis Gent Centrum, St Baafs Kathedraal. One night, as per Nick’s post.
Friday 29th – Sunday 31st, two nights, Hotel New Regina Grote Markt 45, 8900 Ypres, Belgium.
I intend to visit the Menin Gate and some of the actual trench sites and museums in the Ypres area. As Ypres is 1 hour from Ghent this should give 2 days to visit some of the sites before returning via the tunnel on Sunday.
Cheers,
Simon
Booked for the 3 nights and then, 3 nights at Vianden Luxembourg.
Cheers

I understand my booking has now been transferred from the Pilgrim to the castle House Hotel after enquiring about room availability there. Strange but true!
Cheers, Simon
Meant to add that according to Canterbury City Council there is a council run public car park around 250m from the Pilgrim hotel if required. On street view there appears to be ground hoops to secure to.
cheers
Booked in at the Pilgrim Hotel (10 mins walk away but no parking at this hotel), was told that there were not double rooms left yesterday hence booking at the Pilgrim (part of the same group of Hotels).
Cheers,
Simon.
