I had an aventure that did not include finding the Quaker Cafe. I put the details in my satNav and found a dead end. That was after trying to find a way through all the closed streets. Had planed to to get there at 12.00noon but as it got near 1,00pm I gave up.

I stil had Yondermann’s cafe on my satnav so went there.

There were only two bikes left in the car park when we left on Sunday, luckily one of them was mine. Rode home through the Peak District. Traffic in the towns was bad, but Matlock Bath was even worse, thousands of bikes and cars.

Ye Olde Naked Man Cafe dates back to 1663. There is an image on the stone wall of a skeleton in a shroud. There is a web and facebook page. But other than that I have no idea. The coffee is OK.

One of my favorite haunts is the Riverside Cafe in Slaidburn, not far from Bolton By Bowland. They do do food and afters, there is a car park that is used by many motorcyclists. And toilets.

We could meet up there and have lunch in the sun under the trees.
